Have you ever fainted?
You know when you stand up too quickly and your head goes fuzzy? It happened today and it took me back to the times I've actually fainted, both times have been pretty embarrassing!
When I was thirteen (waaay back!) I was once off school ill but as boredom set in I convinced my mum I was well enough to walk to the shop. I was inhaling the delicious bakery aromas as I handed over the money for my shopping when suddenly, hand mid air, my ears began to ring, the room started to spin and everything went black. I vaguely remember the noise of scattering coins and the next thing I knew I was coming round to a elderly gent attempting to pick me up from the floor! For the next twenty minutes, much to my embarrassment I was sat at the front of the bakery, glass of water in hand, awaiting my mum.
The second time was classic! I was at work and an announcement came over the loud speaker for us all to gather for a quick stand up meeting. (You know where this is going right!) I and around fifty other people stood listening to the boss and he eventually told us we were getting a pay rise. Perfectly timed (and obviously thankful!) I dropped to the floor, our for the count! I came round with my ankles on the shoulders of the first-aider and the subject of the meeting. 😆
It can't just be me! share your embarrassing fainting moments!
