February is done, the month of birthdays! Ten cards I bought and lets be honest between cards and pressies thats one pricey month!
The good thing is I now have eight months until another one of birthdays galore! I'm suprised my card shop lady hasn't actually picked up on my occasional tenancy and started charging me rent! In fact her daughter once told me that she was glad she didn't have a big family because "you're always in here!" Tell me about it! I do like buying cards, (I'm that person who stands reading the verse to make sure it suits the person) and I like cheerily giving them to people but ten cards in one month! Thats a card every 2.5 days! 😐
A colleague once asked me when my birthday was, so I told him November.
"Ah Valentines" he said whilst sniggering like a fourteen year old boy.
I looked at him puzzled and then finally the penny dropped! I'd never really thought about the month I was made before! Obviously once we'd stop laughing/being disgusted we went round the staff. February and November were popular birth months in our office. So apparently Valentines and those hazy summer days were all action for some! 😉
I read up on this and actual statistics say the most popular months for births are end of September into October! Yep Christmas, the time for giving it would seem! 😆
So if you're interested in as to when you were conceived, (sorry for putting this in your head!) do the maths and for most of us, the chances are it was Christmas, Valentines or your parents birthday! Which sadly implies that there really was a belief 'treats' were only to be had on such special occasions!! 😆
On that note, Happy Friday everyone, have a great weekend! 😀
