I love satsumas, christmassy, healthy and easy to peel. As for oranges, no thanks! I haven't the patience to peel an orange! By the time I've peeled that orange I could have eaten two satsumas!
Saying that, I may have a bit of ocd... you see, the peeling is easy, yey! but then I can't eat those gorgeous segments until I've painstakingly peeled the pith. Yep I sit forever, removing that stringy stuff, I mean who wants to eat that?!
I also have issues with pears, I enjoy pears but after biting into one only to reveal a maggot cosied up in it's homely nibbled dome, (A full one thank god!) I decided to always slice them before eating!
I know I'm not the only one to have food issues, I was quite pleased recently to discover a friend also pith peels! (High Five!) and I know people who like to eat certain chocolate bars by nibbling the chocoate from the edges first, of course!
