What a month!
I've eaten ice-creams on a daily basis, walked miles on a daily basis (Good thing really!) and declared how amazing the weather is, on a daily basis!
I can't believe this gorgeous weather! are you enjoying it or are you standing inside the freezer door?! I love it, no carrying jackets/umbrellas/waterproofs and that's saying something for the Lake District!
So what did you get up to last month? Here's my June...
I got a new job!
Yep I am now working with the amazing Rebecca at Rebecca Cropper Art!
Have you seen her place? it's simply gorgeous, this lady has skills!
Rebecca specialises in animal portraiture and you can see her beautiful animals as originals, prints, on home-ware and gifts.
I'm surrounded by pretty things and I feel at home already.
(No she hasn't paid me to say this!)
Be prepared, I'll be getting artistic with Rebecca soon and I'll be spreading the love with an Independent Retailer blog post!

A sunny weekend in Shropshire
Have you been to Shropshire?
It's beautiful, full of fresh air and beauty. We spent a fab weekend with good friends, friends who always guarantee belly laughs and good times.
We went on some beautiful country walks and their new dog really enjoys puddles, the muddier the better! See my pic, he looks like he's swimming in gravy!
Coincidentally, one of the walks ends at the local pub so we indulged in some delicious pub grub and obligatory gin.
We also spent a sunny Sunday in beautiful Llangollen which involved even more sunshine, food and laughs.
World Cup excitement
I'm going to be honest, I don't normally follow football but wow!
I've watched every England match, made match day a pizza day (Well justified I think!) and I've held my breath on far too many occasions!
Our England flag is patriotically displayed for every match and I've realised how obsessive it can become!
All because I did it the first time, my superstitious routine now involves carefully displaying the flag in the same place, taking a photo for social media and eating pizza every time the match is on.
There's no way I want to be the one to jinx a match so all of this has to be done, you know, just in case!
Come on England!
Sharing the love!
I had a brainwave!
(It's a rare thing!)
There I was mooching around in the sunshine doing a bit of shopping and it came to me. Yes, my newest blogging venture is to share the love, don't worry I'm not going to start randomly hugging people, but I am going to show my local Independent Retailers some well deserved love!
Because it's so easy to stick with what we know and buy the same old stuff all under one roof! But is it always a good thing?
We have some gorgeous local shops who offer us gorgeous things, some handmade, things of quality, a smile and at a reasonable price!
I love my local Independent Retailers and it's time to let them know, so I'll be chatting to them, blogging about them and introducing you to them.
(Expect a little bit of routine cheek along the way!)
So far I've enjoyed a chocolate theme!
Let me introduce you to Mark at Choccobar and Kay at Huttons Chocolates!

June - month 6 done!
Time is absolutely flying by, (These monthly posts probably don't help!) I mean can you believe we're into July?!
The cheeky me would point out that we're on the count down to Christmas, (Mwah ha ha) but the other me will keep that under wraps... Anyway, I've had a fab June and the heatwave has certainly played a big part in that! I've never been able to justify so many ice-creams and long may it last!
Okay peeps that's all from me, if you want to follow me on Social Media, my links are below. Let me know how your June was in the comments below and have an amazing July!
